VOLUNTEERS BUILD DREAMS!
Wellspring Living could not provide excellence in care without our community of volunteers who serve our survivors with such passion and dedication.
Attending an information session is the first required step toward volunteering.
TYPES OF VOLUNTEERING
PARTICIPANT VOLUNTEERS
direct care with participants
Direct Participant Volunteers serve through interactive activities with the participants such as baking cookies, mentoring, teaching a Life Skills course, and driving to doctors’ appointments.
RETAIL VOLUNTEERS
indirect care for participants
Retail Volunteers serve in general operations in one of our upscale resale stores. Profits from our retail stores generate significant funds which hugely impacts our ability to care for our women and girls.
SPEAKERS BUREAU
indirect care for participants
The Speakers Bureau is a group of volunteers who advocate on behalf of Wellspring Living at major speaking events, community information tables, as well as within personal social circles.
SERVE DAYS
indirect care for participants
Serve Days are for groups who want to come together to care for our girls and women by serving in tangible, hands on projects. From lawn care to donation organization, your group’s time and energy goes a long way in supporting our programs.
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP
Wellspring Living’s Young Professionals Group was formed to build awareness around the issue of sex trafficking while supporting the mission of Wellspring Living. Through fundraising and advocacy events, this group of supporters in their 20s and 30s is dedicated to spreading the word of this cause to their peers and beyond.
